from 1911-12 is addressed to:
Mr Wt Burkitt, 102 Robin Lane, Beighton, Nr Sheffield
and reads:
To Burkitt and Sons
Dear Brothers & all.
We have received the two pcs and are all glad here to hear that you
arrived safelyhome. They have been quite taken up with your visit here
& will be one long to be remembered by many. They say you were fine
on Sunday. Lydia says "Don't forget the Guides". Poor Edna is lost
without you, & said when left the station, my poor boy has gone home.
Expect me on Sat by the 8 train if not arr before. We are all tired
yet, & no more Heights of A(braham) for L. Good old Prime
Bro Bob.
