Brassington War Memorial

1914-19

Hello John
Brassington Parish Church houses a carved stone memorial to the 15 men of Brassington and the surrounding area who fell in the Great War. The list below links the men to the 1901 census data on your website and to the CWGC site. Intermediate recourse to the Ancestry website was necessary to obtain service numbers and regiments for several of the men from Brassington, and hence I'm sure the data is correct. My thanks are due to the Wirksworth Parish team for arranging access to the Brassington church. Please feel free to use on your site.
Best Wishes
David Wardman
