Youth Hostel, Matlock Bath
The Youth Hostel was in Brunswood Road, near the Station Hotel, ideal
for hostellers arriving by train with big rucksacs, though they had to
move on after 3 nights. The YHA network in England and Wales began
about 1935, and grew rapidly, though it was hard-hit by the War.
