Matlock Bridge and Bath c1890
on Magic Lantern slides

As an experiment, I bought 3 magic lantern slides on Ebay,
and had them professionally scanned. They are on metal-framed
glass backing, 3¼ x 3¼ inches (82 x 82 mm). The old chemical photos
held so much detail that they stood a scan of
2,400 x 2,400 pixels. The results are shown on CD,
and a reduced size of 475 x 475 below. Details are enlarged back to 300 dpi.
The slide maker was Poulton & Son, London
