Matlock Dale and High Tor
A very early aerial photo of High Tor and Matlock Bath. It may have
been taken about 1920, using a surplus "stringbag" airplane from the
First World War. The pilot held the joystick between his legs, and took
the photo over the side of the open cockpit using a big plate camera.
