Lots of detail when seen in high resolution (CD only). Disconsolate cab driver waiting for custom. Two ladies, one with parasol and "widow's weeds?". Three horse-drawn cabs leading an early car, number LN 7320. A handcart outside Wyvill grocers carrying an interesting box. "Central Restaurant for small or large Picnic Parties", "Parade Restaurant", "Parade Boarding House", "Central Hotel Restaurant", "Ratcliffe's Dining Rooms", "Wyvill" grocer. Extreme right is "Bryan" milliner. The 1901 Census lists 7 cab drivers living in Matlock Bath. Car number LN indicates NW London, about 150 miles away.
