William, Sarah & Edward MARPLE

Kathleen Broadbent emailed this photo and says:
The second photo shows my Great Grandfather, William Marple, Sarah Marple (nee Fearn) and her husband Ted (Edward Marple). William and Edward were cousins. It was taken outside their home in Rise End, Middleton. William would have been visiting from York. I wonder if it was taken on the same day as the first photo, as there is a Union flag flying? It was certainly in the early 1930s. Edward Marple and Sarah Elizabeth Fearn were married 24 December 1892. Edward's parents were Aaron and Mary Marple (nee Mather) and Sarah's father was Thomas Fearn.
