Hello John,
I attach a photo of James Robinson. Born 30 June 1830 at Ashbourne.
Died 29 Aug 1915 Wirksworth. On his marriage cert. of 3 July 1869
he is described as Gas Works Manager. He probably took over from
his father Edward Robinson when he retired as Gas Works Manager
at Wirksworth.
The photo would have been taken c. 1895. There is a much later photo
of him and his wife already on the Wirksworth Web.
